to be more precise!
Hardly, 500 would be brilliant though. And all them singing too. :)
The other 472,000 who were in the Cross for the Djurgardens game couldn't get flights to Prague then?
;) :D
I was at a Cork v Pats game in Bishopstown when the crowd of 400 was 50/50
Not that long ago either...
That was the other Cork City. ;)Quote:

It would be like moving St. Pats out to Tallaght.
If the Bishopstown venture happened now, I'm sure it would be a success, given how the area has been made less isolated by continuing urban sprawl.
There should be about 400-500 in the City contingent in Prague.
There were three charters arranged and then the independent travellers
Obviously the czechs are way overstating it at 1000 on their website.
Glad to say I'll be adding to the numbers, 34 minutes left in work today!!!
Only truly big teams bring 1,000+ to away games in Europe :)
Fair enough, 1000+ it is then.Quote:

We should all hope TV cameras oppose the City support as will reflect well on the entire league.

Shels had 960-something on the offical trips, I forget the exact figure but that was offical, it's on the Shels website somewhere I think, and a fair few made their way independently.
Not that it matters at all, I was only taking the píss anyway.

Derry brought literally thousands to Ninian Park in 1988, so petty though this thread is - I'm afraid you're all sadly wrong :D
A Cardiff fan I met at the Cramarthen v Longford game said to me that Derry had more away fans at Ninian Park for that game than any other club had ever brought there before in his 40 odd years of going to games. His words, not mine - end of story....
jftr I too was taking the píss...
