folks we are heading to wales!
is it 1st leg Flancare, 2nd leg Wales? if so, no trip to Wales for me... :(
Buckfast Abbey anyone?
Great draw - even better than Vaduz! ;)
Should be able to get a win and a draw from that...?
Carmarthen play their home games in Devon? :confused:Quote:

I know our officials were praying for that draw, so they'll be delighted over there. Should be a good travelling support going both ways too.
Away first no problems, Away second makes it dodgy to get there... I'm giving a training course that week for a system that's launching the next week :eek:Quote:

Manager Mark Jones and Vice Chairman Alun Williams will travel to Switzerland on Thursday ahead of the club's historic participation in Friday's (24.07.05) UEFA Cup draw.
The Richmond Park boss is relishing the challenge and told 'Y Dre ar Y We',"It's just amazing to be involved. Our aim will be to be the first Welsh team to get through the first round draw and get an even bigger side like Dundee, Mainz or Genk or in the second.
"Personally I would like to draw an Irish side. I think we would stand an excellent chance of getting into the next round and without the burden of having to travel too far."
we'll see about that one so... ;)
Carmarthen section on Welsh-Premier.com - quality site on Welsh soccer in general... Record attendance only 911, season begins in August... Have to be looking to get through really...
Edit - only qualified through the Cup (though as runner-up) too after finishing sixth in the league. Club like that's gotta be rubbish! ;)
I cant make Wales either. 28th working in Twickenham as a temp, cant afford to turn it down especially as things are quiet and absolutely no chance of getting back in time either but will be more than happy if we get through, from a supporters point of view, its a great draw.Quote:

where in north wales is carmarten?
Great thing though its my last day as a temp there, so might just get away with the hangover whatever happens. Sickened im not there though but you will hopefully see me for the home leg....
In south North Wales ;)
Wales is one country that hosts thousands of different holidays. You could find yourself in a National Park or at a World Heritage Site. You could be admiring the golden sands of a Blue Flag beach, or a Premier Garden. When you holiday in Wales you'll learn the more you explore the more you'll discover.
1 Anglesey
2 The North Wales Coastal Resorts
3 The North Wales Borderlands
4 Snowdonia Mountains and Coast
5 Mid Wales
6 Ceredigion
7 Pembrokeshire
8. Carmarthenshire
9 Swansea Bay, Mumbles, Gower and the Vale of Neath
10 Valleys of South Wales
11 The Glamorgan Heritage Coast & Countryside
12 Wye Valley and the Vale of Usk
13 Cardiff
according to the map it is near pembroke in wales so if you are getting the ferry you are nearly better off getting the rosslare pembroke ferry.
Only 20 mins from Fishguard according to reports I'm hearing...
This is just chance to make 2ns qualifying round. No excuses.
No excuse about their budget this time macy its an unbelivable chance to get through to the next round and we better :ball:
Totally agree, this time. I've said all along, my expectations for a Northern or Welsh team would be to get through....
Anyway, €44 5 day return on stena as a foot passenger, so then whatever the Train is from Fishguard to Carmathen.
0900 sailing for Rosslare has a train link - 1350 from Fishguard, arrive 1440 Carmarthen
Coming back, 1245 from Carmarthen to Fishguard (1340). Back in Rosslare for 1800.
Working out just €400 for a car and 4 people rather than train....
This is a great draw for us and a realistic chance of getting further in the They play in a ground called Richmond Park which is already a good omen.Carmarthen is a Town in Carmarthenshire in South Wales. It's kinda between Pembroke and Cardiff and Matthew Stevens is from there.Easy to get and not to far from Cardiff so i can hook up with Charlotte Church.Worked in Cardiff and it is a great city.Filthy cheap with lots of bars and clubs and women who just go weak at the Knees for an Irish accent. All you have to do is go around saying fcuk and three and their yours.Allegedly we are hillarous when we say this.I spent 6 very fruitful months working in Cardiff and how i miss it.This really is a cracking draw for us.
have the trip booked!
Boat from Rosslare to Pembroke, €38 for 4, as a foot passenger, get bus to Carmarthen, bobs you uncle. CANT Wait, WHAT A FCUKING DRAW!!!!
classic!Quote:

Pauro - I'm considering driving over from London for it. Will make a decision closer to the time, but likely to go. You'd be welcome to a lift, and depending on when kick-off is that might get you back in time ? Peader might be up for it as well, and I'll see if any of the other London-based exiles fancy it too.Quote:

Wouldn't think I'll be going for more than two nights but some of the travel arrangements sound a little mad....
Longford - Rosslare (144 miles - 3 hr 45 min)
Rosslare - Pembroke (3hr 45 mins)
Pembroke - Cardiff (2 nights) (1hr 45mins)
Cardiff - Match - Cardiff (2hrs)
Cardiff - Pembroke - Rosslare - Longford. (9hr 15mins)
that's some tripping around for Wales...
to be contined later...
Camarthen is two hours from Cardiff.
There are direct trains.
Cardiff is a big Galway.
Camarthen has the second smallest pub in Wales.
Cardiff has a few more.
Stay in Cardiff and commute to the game.
Brought to you by AER GEARÓID, sponsored by the CAERDYDD Tourist Board. :D
who are ya again? ;)Quote:
