Draw for the out of town stages is out.
Potential for some big games if results go a certain way such as:
Killarney Celtic Vs Balla.
Peake Villa Vs Regional.
Abbeyfeale United Vs Carrick United.
Big win for St Michael's in Tipperary today. Clonmel Town very poor on the day. Both teams missing players.
Saturday 26th January:
Munster Junior Cup 4th Round: Lakewood Ath 0 Clonmel Celtic 0 (Lakewood won 4-2 on pens aet); Avondale Utd 4 Glen Celtic 1; Pearse Celtic 1 Prospect Priory 1 (abandoned due to injury);
Interesting to see Avondale make handy work of Glen Celtic. MJP is a very strong division this year.
Cork sides haven't made much of an impression in the MJC in recent times. Winnable tie for Avondale in next round, away to Pearse Celtic or Prospect. Notable win for Lakewood also today.
your quiet intitled to your opinion id respect it a lot more if we knew the quailty of the critic like yourself...a bit harsh on the glen and best of luck to a good avondale side no complaints from the glen ..as for average there,s a lot of quality in that side now and lined up for next season ..still building and will bounce back from this.
All the 4th round results and updated 5th round draw.

I think Prospect get home advantage after the game in Pearse Celtic was abandoned due to injury.
Avondale were well deserved winners against the glen. Not sure who was worse in the second half the Glen or the refs couldn’t pick a call between the 3 of them. The glen deservedly had a man dismissed for consecutive fouling and another arguably harsh red for mouthing
Munster Junior Cup 4th Round: Pearse Celtic A 1 Prospect Priory 0;
I'm led to believe Prospect were rode all ways by the refs.
Bit harsh no? Away from home and getting screwed by the officials? Even the great Sheriff, Pike, Janesboro, Newmarket, Michaels teams lose the head in those circumstances.
Munster Junior Cup 5th Round: St Michael’s 3 Lakewood Ath 1; Pearse Celtic A 3 Avondale Utd 1; Grattan Utd 1 Ballynanty Rovers 2.
All the results from the 5th round games played over the weekend plus quarter final draw.

Is it fair to say Killarney Celtic have tailed off a bit this year?
Knocked out of the Munster Junior at home to Balla on pens in the last 32.
Whacked at home to Regional in the Last 64 of the FAI.
Beaten in the semis of the Munster Champions Trophy away to Newmarket (not a bad result considering the competition).
I'm not trying to rag on Killarney (I've literally zero reason to) but I'm sure you see my point?
Some Quarter finals on this weekened
Carrick Utd “A” v Pike Rvs Sunday 2pm
Carrick up against it even at home, a very young team that has done very well to get to the last 8. Pike no strangers to Carrick and were down at the same stage last year to face the B team to win in last minute of extra time. With the likes of Mcgann and Grant should have toom uch fire power. i'm hoping for smash and grab
Spot on there😀😀
Carrick United 1 Pike Rovers 2
Newmarket Celtic 4 Pearse Celtic 0
Geraldines 1 Ballynanty 1(Dines win 5-3 on pens)
Expected wins for Pike and Newmarket, shock defeat foe Balla surely as thet were hot favourites to beat Geraldines.
St Michaels won 4-1 at Kilmallock today in the final quarter final tie. They are away to Geraldines in semi with Pike home to Newmarket.
Semi final details

Pike Rvs v Newmarket Celtic
Saturday 27th April 2019

St Micks having some season. Already have Tipp South title and Munster Champions Trophy in the bag, FAI Junior Cup finalists and now into the Munster Junior Cup final v Pike. That should be a cracking game.
When is the final?
Fixed for Jackman Park on May 18th or 19th I think.
Thanks
6:30PM kick-off this Saturday, looking forward to it. You couldn't call it.
Couldn’t call it ??? Pike will will take beating, great record against st micks and going for 3 in a row in jackman park.
Deserved win for Michael's.
Sudden death pens hides the fact St.mics by far the better team, hard to understand how Pikes late leveller stood as it was a clear foul on keeper.Pike threw it away in the pens to be fair, had 3 chances to win it.Anyone know why Pike manager had a go at ref at fulltime ?
Pike are very poor. Very little to offer up front. A poor enough game. Michaels the better team but pike really should have won that shoot out
