Fully undeserved 2-0 lead for us here. Bohs have been all over us.
Sligo somehow came away from Dalymount with a 3-0 win tonight.
Bohs played some lovely stuff in the 1st half but couldn't score. Sligo played some nice stuff themselves and seemed to take almost every chance they got.
Pender was sent off early in the second for a knee high challenge. Even with 10 men the game was v even and Bohs created a few chances. Couldn't score for love nor money though.
Finn Harps beat Longford 3-0 without really hitting top gear.
That was quite pleasing.
Fair play, sounds like it was well deserved. Our worst performance of the season according to Fenn. We have a serious consistency problem which is going to cost us.Quote:

Neil Farrugia is every bit as good as Georgie Kelly, albeit that he's a winger instead of a forward. But he's just back from injury, which will really help offset Kelly's loss.

Didn't see who got the head on it, but thought he was beyond the last man.
Did alright in the first half, FitzGerald especially. Just retreated in the second, and it was just a question of whether we would concede one or more. Could have used some kind of result after the week that was, but we're just not good enough.
Another bad result for Galway. Somehow, still in with a chance of playoffs though.
I think any of the teams chasing promotion will be good enough to beat Limerick.

Limerick hustled us out of it in the first half and we were awful, for the first half hour especially. We had more urgency in the second half and it told. Huge relief to get the win, finally. Limerick looking for trouble tonight trying to defend a 1 goal lead and as usual the officials feck up to change the outcome of a game. How is the standard in the league so poor this carry on happens every week. Most of the time it goes unnoticed ie free kicks or throw ins but how are they all soooo bad its so annoying
