as will kavanagh
Only one transfer here is Mark Farren is joining Glenavon in January
As a player? He was coaching in Limerick wasn't he? I dunno will he be any good at this stage? Doubt he has pace to burn any more. I just remember him not celebrating goals when he was with Bohs, cant remember him banging them in either, not a 20 goals a season player i wouldn't have thought.
For his age he isn't that slow. He seems super fit which helps and he can win a lot of ball in the air. I would like to see us keep onto him for another season. I think he might have a bit to offer in the premier. He was supposed to be a player/coach with us but it seemed like he was just a player to me.
Foley is OK, but injury prone and seemingly not up for the full 90 minutes anymore. Has had his share of bad misses in the later part of the season.
Foley wants to sign with someone to do his badges and play a bit too.... He has been injured once i think with us but it was a bad one so wouldn't call him injury prone.
I would say he would be happy to be a coach with ye and just be on the bench he wants his badges more then anything is great with young lads according to a few of ours. No hope of him being with us if Pat Scully is still there.
Managerless Rovers sure are being linked with a ton of players...
The only rumour about players coming into Pats I've heard is Richie Ryan
As will Jason McGuinness
He'd be a good body to have around.
Excellent attitude and you're not exactly blessed with attacking talent down there.
Could do a serious job with a young lad playing off him imo, wanted to see Foley - Gaffney all season, never quite happened.
Joe Gamble an Denis Behan to go too maybe?
Joe Gamble and Denis Behan back to Cork.
Shane Guthrie, Derek O'Brien and Barry Ryan back to Galway United.
Shaun Kelly to Dundalk.
Rory Gaffney to Mervue.
Pat Purcell to Waterford.
Shane Tracy to Arsenal.
The circle of life they call it.
Move to Limerick section please.........
Sorry Sean South, didn't mean to beat you to it.
Killian Brennan to Drogs anyone hear anything? I thought he was on more then a one year deal myself.
Also heard Marc Griffin could be heading to Limerick.

Can't see why any player would want to decamp to Whitestown Way after the season past. Get the next appointment wrong and it's back to the wilderness. Note to Rovers Board: be careful what you wish for ...
Derek Foran supposedly off to America when season ends.

Are you for real?
Even after a woeful season, the Hoops are still be a bigger draw than most and with the apparant clear-out on the way, there's a multitude of players who would gladly want to be part of a resurgent Rovers team.
Believe me, there'll be no shortage of options for a new gaffer.
There's plenty of Dublin lads around the country who would happily join Rovers if it gets them closer to home - even if Hooperman is manager next season.
Seen Eddie Gormley on the sideline for Bray on MNS, and he did the interview afterwards, what's his role at Bray now?
McCabe is definitely out of contract in November and as far as I know he hasn't signed a new deal yet. You may be right about the younger players though.
