armenia look really up for it, unsurprisingly. frantic start, armenia bombing forward at every opportunity. no real chances so far though.
edit: both sides going for it really. armenia just hit the outside of the post.

Shocking defending. TBH, I think it would be ideal if Armenia have to go all out to win on Tuesday because they're not THAT good and they're seriously vulnerable at the back. It'd suit us if we defend solidly and nick a 1-0 win

Armenia are awful at the back. But I suppose when you've lads scoring from 25 yards out it doesn't matter too much. Whelan and Andrews are going to have to play blinders on Tuesday.
Hope Toshack manages to avoid the sack until we've played both our games v Macedonia next campaign.....

Well I was worried about Tuesday night, but I think its fair to say I'm cacking it now.
A Russia win against Slovakia might not be the worst thing after all.
Armenia are some team going forward, they have banged in 21 goals!!
That is amazing, we have only scored 11, Russia surprisingly on 10 ( I remember them putting 4 past us in one game no so long ago).
Slovakia have only managed a miserable 6.
I would predict 1-0 Russia which might turn out to be a great result for us when Armenia stick their regulation 4 past us!!!
russian keeper - malafeev - looks dodgy. slovakia are banging in a few shots from outside the box; russia look dangerous on the break.
Don't want Russia scoring as there is no way Slovakia will score two. Got to be a 1-0. A few more shots against that Russian keeper might do it.
I'd bite your paws off for a Slovakian win but it's hard to see that happening, Russia are gradually taking over.
