Just a quick question someone may be able to help me with.
How well, if at all, do Windows Live messenger or the MSN instant messenger run on a dial-up connection? Was a bit surprised to find that the dial-ups are still very much about, and not out in the boonies either!
It would have to be a pretty solid connection, no appreciable delays or freezes like.

ive used it on dial-up for a while till i got "broad(not very)band", its decent, although i think can only get the basic MSN with dial up

Cheers Rovers1, so they can just download the installer as normal and it'll run at a basic level? That'd be good enough, that's all that's required. Thanks!

still works like normal just not all the amenities are there.

You should have no problems at all with it man. Shouldn't make any real difference to performance.
