Limerick Legend signs for Kilkenny City
Limerick FC legend Frank Browne has signed for Kilkenny City after surprisingly not making an impression in a couple of soirees for Janesboro. This surely represents an outstanding coup for Adolf Lynch and Kilkenny City, as the versatile Browne (equally efficient in all positions) is the only member of Kilkennys squad, ever, to have doimestic silverware, having played a starring role in Limericks league cup success.
Rumours that Janesboro are a better side than Kilkenny are completely without foundation, and Browne is said to have been lured to Kilkenny by sweet talking Lynchs' softly spoken, easy going style together with Kilkennys soon to be announced merger with Summerville Under 14's to strenghten their squad.
He will team up with yet another Limerick leg-end, Davie Dunphy, who is back in contention for a spot on the bench tonight versus Athlone following injury and suspensions...not to mention his recent release from a secret mental institution on Mulgrave Street.:D :D :D :D
