Is it safe to say that Nicky Sarkozy would kick Brian Cowens Ass! - I for one think so, this guy oozes charisma and seems in many ways like his historical predecessor Napolean to harbour Promethean ambitions - When Mary Lou McDonald said she would welcome an opportunity to meet him, secretly you knew she was wetting her knickers at the thought!:o
I think he's a knob. Never mind his right wing politics, he must have no political savvy at all. If he thinks his constant calls for us to go again on Lisbon is going to help it get passed he must be a bit thick. He's already the No's sides biggest asset in defeating Lisbon II - if he isn't already making it impossible for the Government to run it again in the first place.
I hate the man, never mind his right wing leanings, his oozing arrogance or the fact he's a stereotypical lying politician, I hate him because he's married to Carla Bruni.....*******!
Sarkozy is an amateur in the French job, got the job because he came across as someone who would have answers, but anyone with a modicum of savy would realise that answers are not easily got, nor are they easily elaborated upon when they are found. He thinks that he is the thinking man's George Bush, and what's worse, he's right. To$$er of the highest order. And that before he even gets the chance to annoy me on matters of policy or politics.
All that, AND he's denying myself and Jebus a battle to the death for the hand of Carla Bruni by usurping one of our places in her affections.

I don't know much about him on the domestic front but there was trouble with him during the riots in Paris a few years ago. He was a minister in the French Gov. at the time.
