BTW: I have seen a new low, the last few mornings the cops have been pulling cars on the northbound approach to the port tunnel as the cars are slowing down anyway , this is in addition to the white van with a camera pointing out the back window which seems to be permanently parked on under the bridges in the 80k zone on the M1 between the tunnel and the ariport this must be a great cash cow as it certanly doesnt slow many people down.

I'd say you would've slowed down by then though. I don't mind anything that appears to be visible policing - it's the sneaky hide behind the hedge to catch people nonsense (as londonred outlines) that annoys me. Prevention much better than convictions. Same as with drink driving - they should be hitting the pub and club car parks before people get into cars, or setting up at the car park exits.Quote:
