this drog needs help

I think i can safely say that there will be fock all Drogs at the X tonight. Not enough interest to run a bus. I'd say there would have been more of an uptake if the game was on Saturday, aah well.

Anyway, I've persuaded the missus that we could do with a weekend away, and where better to go than the beautiful city of Cork! While the thought of a trip to see a game doesn't exactly float her boat i promised her we'd go out afterwards.

Question: Last time I was in Cork I ate in a good Thai restraunt on Patrick St, it's on the first floor of a building somewhere across the road from Brown Thomas. Can anyone remember the name?

There's a nice Thai gaff on Bridge St. That's the street over the bridge at the top of patrick's street. It's on the right.

To be fair there are a lot of good places to eat in town.
If you stroll around the streets branching off St. Patrick's Street you're bound to stumble on some place the missus likes.

With regard to the game, Shels and UCD have used Rent-a-Crowd and are sure to have the number for them if you're stuck for numbers. :D

The place across from Brown Thomas is called Tung Sing and its a chinese restuarant.

For Thai then Ruen Thai above boots on Patricks St is a nice restuarant but as someone has mentioned, Taste of Thailand on Bridge street is also very nice. probably better IMO.

If you're after a chinese and a big feed then Pearl River on Princess St is the job. For an Indian the Indian Palace just across the Street is the best IMO.

What kinda crowd are we expecting? Ill be happy with around the same as last week, 4500 - 5000. If the rains stays away.

I'd say 4500-5000 would be about right, most people who were at last weeks game will have been impressed and will hopefully come back for more of the same.

The banna thai down in maiylor street down the side of roches stores.

Yeah, ended up in that place in Bridge Street. Nothing fancy but the Thai Red Curry was the biz.

A few pints in the pub on the corner (Bridge St and McCurtin St). Got talking to a couple of city lads at the bar. A good night had by all (blanking out the result).

yeah was looking forward to the match meself but kinda got waylaid and ended up in galway friday night and watched the city match from the txt updates i was getting.. not quite the same thing but jof's goal was a txt thing of beauty to read
