In fairness this is the most likely time City will lose him...until the transfer window is closed which although I don't know the date, is a few days after Newcastle's Pre-Champs League match, so end of the month??
I doubt any player would turn down such a move myself. The price is somethingt City should hold out on. Blackburn have some coffers after the Duffer moved on after all!!
why would blackburn want him sure hed barely be good enough for a good first division, not putting him down but the standards alot lot higher and he finds it hard to impress even in the eircom league at the moment, so not much chance of that happening
he may be going through a dry spell but to say he's not impressing is a bit off. he's still the leading goalscorer in the league and he's off to Poland with the U21's next week. The scouts that looked at him probably see great potential in him, and are willing to work on him. no-one said he was going to walk straight into the Blackburn first team, but he definitely has the ability to make it with the proper coaching.
if the 150k stg mentioned is true it's not enough, but i reckon we'd lose him at that as he probably has a clause in his contract if a big enough club come in for him.
transfer deadline is August 31
£500,000 stg is the least we should sell him for if not more.
I hope this is not true though.
If that was the case no EL players would have been signed by British clubs in the past or the future. Their is rich pickings in the EL, players have more power than clubs now and rightly so.Quote:

Did you mean to say that English clubs have taken advantage of players in the past and exploit them and the club are not in a position to help the players and prevent this happening.Quote:

No matter what you say ..... if you speak of this issue and dont include, that scouts have had it easy in eL and English clubs have made a killing in the past. then you will know your argument is not accurate. Power ...... toss to that, i think policy is far more important issue for our league.

What do you mean by policy?, it's a level playing field.Quote:

The rules are their in black and white, it's up to either club to look after their interests and the player after his.
Have to say players now compared to players 15 years ago have more power (sorry you don't like the word POWER, how about sway or clout).
