This one has most posts so it wins.
I think it's a good draw for the Youths. UCD probably the least intimidating of the top division sides (no offence). It would have been nice to get one of the top teams at home, this is the next best thing.
Any idea what date these ties are?
Week beginning 30 June.
I think the fact the ye have such a young side is what makes ye less intimidating to be honest. Obviously we were the dream home draw for all the other sides. Both sides in poor enough form at the moment, if either one gets a bit of momentum going into the game it could be significant.
What are the chances of ye playing a mostly reserve side?
Quite high, actually, if they're fit. But we've been doing very well in the League Cup with them; they're well up for the games.
Just gives us that little bit more hope.
You guys are there or there about in the League Cup every season, for us the chance to play in a semi final is a huge thing.
If they can't lift themselves for a game like this then we might as well give up altogether.
Is it another draw for the semis or will it be de winners of bray-galway play winners of -ucd-wexford etc.?
They didn't say; usually an open draw.
You must be new to this stage. ;)
Sometimes they will have some regional ties or two rounds drawn together. But there is no indication of that for this year's quarter-finals, just a stand-alone open draw.

Quarter finallists this year (so far).
Semi finallists last year.
Finallists in 2005.
Quarter finallists in 2004.
Finallists in 2000.
Fourth quarter final in five years. We've the second best recent record in the Cups, I think.
It's helped by the fact that no-one other than Derry has won the League Cup in recent times!
But in terms of reaching quarter-finals, we're very consistent (FAI Cup quarters in 2007, 2006, 2005 and 2004, with a semi in 2007).
Though obviously your point that it's winning the final that really counts is valid, even over-riding.
