In last nights echo the dream team will play Limerick/superstar selection/up and comming talent in the mid west on the 21st of sepetember. Thats the day after Limerick are away to Kildare (for which we can get the train too and back checked yesterday) We didnt seem to have much to do with the orginisation of the event with all profits going to local charities. lets hope we're one of them. "this event should be very popular with the young females" classic irish journalism, why dont they say that every week about our team....and me? ;)

The above post has me confused.
Can it be taken from this that the dream team is not coming to play Limerick FC as a fundraiser for the club but rather that they are playing for local charities. I had been under the impression (may be my own fault) that the club would benefit.
Any clarifications?

thats what I was led to believe also....would be a major bummer if an event like this was allowed to pass by with us getting little or nothing out of it.

From what i can gather Limerick Fc will benefit from the gate. The team will be a Limerick Selection made up of Celebs and our players rotating often. I dont have any more detail suffice to say I have been told we will benefit very well from it:ball:

Nice one.
Not the first time Gael has spread confusion and angst. :)
The only other worry I have is how in God's name are we going to handle Carl Fletcher! He's brilliant!

White powder, LFCIE, lots of lines of white powder....I'm only raging that Linda Block is in the klink, and that we won't get to see the sublime. silken skills of Luis Amor Rodriguez or little Billy O'Neill

And how about a little wager too. There'll be more purple and orange Harchester jersies (for the imaginary club) at the game than Blue or White LFC ones.....

Who remembers the Hocknell brothers, Sean and Dean? :D
I'm just curious as to what'll happen with the Kildare game now, the League was in uproar when Shels cancelled a league game for a friendly with Man Yoo so it'll be interesting to see the reaction.
