hey red bellied thanks for posting all these great matches and moments for Sligo Rovers any chance you could get the the moment when Sligo Rovers lifted the cup in '77 ?
Sourced all those clips through video tape that was converted to dvd. VCR's weren't mainstream when Rovers won the league in 1977 and not even sure had RTE cameras at the Showgrounds that day.Quote:

There was a camera at the Shams game in 77 but RTE erased most of the footage, 6 minutes remains including 2 of the Rovers goals and interviews with McGee and Sinclair, it was shown at the 77 night in the Radison and a good few people have it on disc around town.
