Last Saturday’s premier league match against Sligo Rovers was somewhat diminished by the actions of a minority of fans in attendance. The Galway United Supporters Trust values the enthusiastic support of all fans at home and those traveling to away matches and we take seriously the reputation of the supporters trust and that of Galway United. The trust will not tolerate any level of inappropriate behavior towards fans or players and will work with the club to encourage a safe family orientated environment. These are exciting times for Galway United especially with the appointment of a new manager and we urge all players, supporters and officials to display a united front and to demonstrate a passion for the club starting with this Friday nights game against Bray Wanderers.
