"1983 : Première phase de rénovation du stade Emile Versé, rebaptisé Stade Constant Vanden Stock."
A concern is that English language journalists up to the present day, called the stadium Parc Astrid after the greater public park around the sportsground. It's not the only ground in Europe to be named something other than the Official title, especially when the ground is named after a person. There is a famous stadium in Milano with a similiar effect.
What other stadiums are named after people? and why the culture not to repeat the name but give the stadium a more inanimate title? (is it like the idea, not creating a statue of someone who is living).
