MacCauley played in the pre-season friendly against Cork City in UL..Noel O'Connor wanted to bring him in, but study and the fact that he dislocated his collar bone in that match, I think, prevented him from signing. Ross, we all know and loved to hate, but all that will change now....provided he doesn't act the dick like he seems to have done in Waterford.
Good plus signs these...but although losing Frankie isn't exactly a downside, I hear that they're not going to renew Gareth Cooneys loan, and that Colm Heffernan is also a potential defection. MacCauley is an out and out left winger, Rossi on the right, so where's he to go. I'd be more optimistic if these were additions to strenghten the squad, but all they seem to be are replacing like with like. The squad remains thin, and we have to hope and pray for an injury free season, or else we're for it.
Christ...please remove the perpetual dark cloud that seems to follow my every post.....
Guess we cant sing Downtown anymore so !!!
That dark cloud has been moved to Pike Rovers
pitch and will remain there for the forseeable future,
i fear :p
Yeah but we can sing "Everywhere you go, always take the weather with you!" :D
