Charlton approach!!!!

Now I am not a man to spread a rumour, but apparently, if Billy does well in the next four games, he will be offered the job full-time, with none other than Jack Charlton coming on board as an advisor!!!
Charlton is a regular visitor to Galway for fishing and the like, an apparently he missed his involvement in football, and sees as media analysis gigs haven't been coming thick and fast for him, he is looking to keep his hand in without stretching himself.
Now that would get the crowds up to Terryland, Big Jack in the dugout, and it wouldn't be his first time as the dugout are the ones from Lansdowne Road.

Ah how i love the 1st of April

I bet that bit about Billy could be true though.Interesting to see how he does.He will have them fired up anyway and did very well with the u21s last season.It could happen.

The April fools joke on Foot today are diabolical! The only Jack Charlton that would be in the dugout with Billy would be that cardboard cut out of him that used to be in the Clubhouse! Where did that end up?

Jesus:eek: i think i remember that, are you refering to a time around 1994-96 and it would have been upstairs where the seats used to be in the clubhouse?. That rings a bell(was really young at the time so kind of cloudy memory of it)
