Holders Longford Town face the Mayo League in the pick of the ties from the second round draw of the Enda McGuill Under 21 Cup that was made on Monday morning.
The Mayo League hammered neighbours Galway United 6-0 last Thursday to set up the clash with the defending champions and it sure to be an interesting tie as Mayo get used to life in the Under 21 League's after last season's successful debut season.
Last year's runners-up Mervue United must travel to last year's League winners Cork City while Shelbourne - fresh from a 9-0 rout of Mullingar Town in the first round - will face either Dublin University or Bray Wanderers.
Elsewhere, UCD face a daunting trip to Tralee to face the Kerry League, Athlone Town will clash with Garda, Finn Harps host Monaghan United while Shamrock Rovers or St Patrick's Athletic will face Drogheda United and Dublin City or Bohemians will clash with Waterford United.
