we are jumping between two threads here ,need marco to ok the account thing if he does i will deposit straight away
Ramsfan and myself will put money in. How many of the rest of ye will?
what is price then we can decide how many we need
just check website no info on price, match sponsorship is 500 euro so cant be more than 200 isuppose?
I myself would definitly put a few pound in like 20/25 i havent much more then that as im still in college.
I think the price is 200 per player. I'd forget the Bank account thing as I'd say it'd be too messy for accounts. Nominate one of you to collect the cash and pay it all at once. If you have your hearts set on having foot.ie as the sponsor then approach Admin here for a cash input as it'll be his site (not you guys) that are getting the advertising out of it.
Check with Willie Kane but i heard the other day that it is 500 to sponser a player this year as we are in the premier.
20 quid a man means 25 of us, its going to be tough to get that
dont think i wil be approaching him:eek::eek:
rams 14 is well liked and not previously banned :D
All done. Heres what I said to him.

I think the player sponsorship thing wasn't as great a success as it was hoped it would be, but revenue is revenue I suppose. I do think though that maybe 500 is a bit steep. Anyway, check out what you get for it. I do know that on the Official site you'll get the sponsor mentioned on this page: http://www.cobhramblers.ie/squad/sponsorship.htm
I'll reply here to save the hassle:
I have no problem with a donation, however someone should talk to the club first to check the logistics of this; either a nominee from the forum, or I can do it if I'm given contact details for the correct person to talk to. Since Foot.ie is backed by a company, I'd suggest having Foot.ie handle the donations in the same way we handled the Ireland flag last year; and assuming the sponsorship consists of just a mention in the programme, I'd suggest using the tagline of "Foot.ie Supporters" rather than just Foot.ie.
I'd be willing to donate €50 if the cost if €200, or €100 if the cost is €500.
