Cork have topscorer John O'Flynn back from under-21 duty with Ireland as they search for their first win in seven games to get back on track in the title race. "The most important thing is to believe in what you are doing and keep doing it," says assistant boss Noel O'Connor. "One win will change everything." UCD have left-back Darragh Ryan back from a groin strain and may have to readjust their defence further as Robert McAuley is unlikely to play having been concussed after last week's first win of the season against Bohemians.
;) with derry's win over shels last night the league is left wide open. shels have 20 points and from second to second last is separated by just five (from rovers on 16 down to longford on 11, we have 13). a win over UCD is a must for city, with Pats -v- Rovers, Bohs -v- Longford and Waterford -v- Drogs tonight, the teams around us will be dropping points. Come on city!!!

On current form UCD must be favourites for tonight.
We couldn't bate our way out of a paper bag.
May God have mercy upon us.
Chatting to the old man yesterday about the whole City situation and he reckons Dolan is a complete bluffer.
I'm prepared to give the bloke a chance and sure we'll support City till we die as the song goes but can't help thinking about what my Dad said, time will tell.

Gas thing is that loads of people are nervous about games with UCD - the Longford lads on their board were saying that we were probably slight favourites for our game a couple of weeks ago.
I suppose now everybody's had a chance to see us, that pessimism will probably give away...:(

We know UCD are rubbish, but we've got some bad memories of playing the students. City always seem to struggle against you.

that's because we've always been bereft of ideas when it comes to creative midfield play. doolin lines the students up in two organised rows of four behind the ball (they don't overcommit going forward) and to be honest city in recent years haven't had the craft to break them down.
