City for Europe?

In his column yesterday in "The Star" Pat Dolan said that Cork City have a 11/2 chance of coming out of the hat.

Spillane is this true?

the odds are a small bit better and its for the UEFA Cup.

When is the draw taking place ?

June 20 I heard...

And it's 2 teams from 10 I think

The uefa cup draw is on the 20th but the fair play draw is before that as all club representatives have to be at the draw. Ild say its this week or very early next week.

There was a piece on football365 about Man City knowing tomorrow if there are in the competition.

So it's to be drawn on Friday, with 9 teams in the hat for two places, odds of 9/2 or 4.5/1.

Yes but 9/2 doesn't mean two chances out of nine. It means two chances out of eleven: two successes for every nine failures.

i know that

2 wins and 9 fails from 11 chances compares with 1 win and 4.5 fails from 5.5 chances ....

1 win and 3.5 fails from 5.5 chances doesn't go.
