It CAN happen. The Swedish lads will have it niggling at them that Spain might just do the job for them. Might just make them sit back ...and that Latvia side are good enough to beat them.
Northern Ireland have no such permutations to ponder. It's win or bust and I think that'll stand to them. It's a huge ask but they've taken their campaign to the last game and they deserve serious credit for it.
I'll be delighted for them if they do it. They deserve it ...and their fans deserve it too.
Spain are going to rest players for Wednesday's match so the North has a good chance of beating them.
Sweden were well beaten last night so the pressure is on them to recover and to put in the performance needed Wednesday night. Latvia has beaten Sweden in Stockholm before so there's no reason they can't do it again.
Well I'd love it if Northern Ireland make it to the finals. Given my family origins I for one would have a team to support!
