Bit of a joke really...most of the goal of the month competitions were better!!!
Most of the goals in their list happened in the last few weeks...Definately not a great selection by Eircom League Weekly..
I thought that Matthew Judge's goal for Sligo at home to ShamrocK Rvs should have won...To be fair Vinny Sullivans goal away to Galway a few weeks ago was twice as good as McHugh's and wasn't even in the shortlist...
Nowhere near as good as either Billy Gibson goals against Shamrock Rovers IMO
Both of Judgies Goals here are better than McHugh's

i have to agree with selection of mchughs goal for the importance, timing, power and accuracy. thats the first thing tv3 got right all year.

http://www.stpatsfc.com/watch_video.php?id=82 couple of minutes in would say what minute but it ruins the fun of watching someone destroy Rovers 5-0 and not a ****ing peep out of them on any website proclaiming their godliness. personally i think gibsons 2nd goal the on where we toyed with rovers and created a team goal was better but most pats fans reckon the volley was better :D
