May 28th: In an move which has shocked Both Irish and English league football to its very foundations, Irish international and Manchester United starlet has signed for Eircom League Premier Division side Waterford United for the princely sum of a set of Waterford Crystal champagne flutes. Citing homesickness as the major factor in his decision to leave Manchester United, O'Shea also stated that having won the Premiership in his first full season at Old Trafford there was nothing left for him to achieve in English football. He now wants to help his beloved blues reach the group stages of the Champions League. O'Shea is contracted to the club until 2015 and the contract is believed to be worth around 75 euro a week.
