is our problem in defence steming from the lads in defence or the lack of decent cover in midfield, its worrying how amny goals we are conceading and the fact that they are late in the games too, derry, shels, bohs, drogs all in the last 15/20 mins of the match and three of those were in the last 5 mins
well to be honest, DJ... I'ld do anything to have two decent central midfielders.... the defence aren't bad overnight??
I agree, it's lack of cover in the midfield area - teams just walk through us.... Also hating to agree with the New tachless Rico, we are a prime example of a team that defends too deep on a lead (or even at times a draw) - that's tatics not players....
well not having any strikers as back up on the bench against drogs was a disgrace. i duno what matthews is playin at but he'd wanna take his finger out before we're in serious trouble
From a reliable source, I hear that Barrett had an infection(mouth I think) and Matthews would not let him play. But you are right we dont have enough backup.

He was behind me as i was going in and he was saying something to gary murphy about having teeth pulled out or maybe a mouth infection he was holding his mouth anyway
