Not really. I reckon about 100-150 Town fans and 800-850 Derry City fans. Very hard to get to get a good atmosphere when your comrades from Section O are not there . There is still a bad atmosphere between Section O and the stand at the game. Anytime I tried to get an atmosphere , the muppets from the stand would not join in with me so I got frustrated and let the sad losers to themselves. Those above people I hope you are ashamed of yourselves!

1000 in total at Derry?! That's woeful! Any particular reason? Derry usually have much more than that...

The new stand the Longford fans were in holds almost 3,000 and it had about 1,600 in it while the old stand and shed had about 600 in total.

I'll agree it was a terible crowd for us but after the terrible pre-season we had and the lack of signings and with Celtic playing there biggest game for 35 years it wasn't that bad.

I was at the game on the open side of the ground and I probably understated the ground. I did not realise the stand would hold so many. My apologies. I always like going to Derry as Derry people are so genuine. I spoke to a lot of them outside. Next time Derry are playing in Longford are ye Derry boys on for staying up and maybe play the Section O boys in a challenge match at the all weather pitch at Flansiro?

That was a great result on Thursday night! I was sickened i missed it but twas due to unforeseen circumstances. never mind i am back for the bohs game :p
