In the eL magazine, the colours of City's second gear is blue.
Is this correct?
Anyone know when this strip is coming out?

i have my reservations about it too...but ill wait until I see it first hand before passing judgement......it may be nice !???
Have to disagree. If it's half as good up close and personal as it is on paper, I'll have to buy 2 City jerseys over the summer!;)Quote:

I'll say, but, a welcome change. Definitely the nicest away gear I've seen in my 13 years as a City fan. Remember the black and yellow one? Proof positive that previous away gears aren't the most exacting of standards.Quote:

I havent seen it, but I think that the away strip should be either red or white. What does blue have to do with Cork? Its the Dublin colour
t its definetley navy and it has a bit of red aswell as a bit of white. nicest in the last few seasons
Agreed. Blue has nothing to do with CCFC.Quote:

I haven't actually seen it up close yet but I think it will probably be a welcome change. Still, until I've seen it for real I'll refrain from taking a definate stance on it.:)
red = republic
i could have one for sale soon !!!one careful owner :D :DQuote:

Apparently blue was the away colour for Cork Hibs. The El picture is wrong. Under the sleeves is green not white, or so I was told.Quote:

I have to admit I don't like blue/white/red strips ($hels and Pats) too "union jack" for my liking. But if City are throwing in green as well.......just have to wait and see it.
Blue has nothing to do with CCFC. For a club with such a haphasard way of changing its colours and thus having an identity problem, a blue strip makes no sense.
If the home colours are to be predominantly green, then the away colours should be red.
I certainly won't be buying it. What will blue look like in the Shed?
BLUE OUT!!
its the clour of munster though.
That'd be red. Blue=LeinsterQuote:

The Munster colour is Blue, the Leinster is Green. The Rugby teams wear different colours for some reason that I have yet to get.
Look at the crests, the colours the inter-pro GAA teams wear etc.
