Youth football in Limerick

Lads, just got Youths fixtures for the 1st week of season... i have a couple of questions... why is the youth season starting so early???


There are only 8 games in the youth league yet most teams are down to play THREE of the games in the 1st 6 days....why ???

from fri23rd youth div 1 teams will have 5 league matches left untill next season sounds crazy to me... what about the youths with lf21's ???

local clubs nor being helped in provinicial hopes???

maybe i hae it wrong about the amount of matches??

i think it might be a good idea, these lads are still at school a lot of them probably doing their leaving cert so to have the majority of games out of the way early could be a good thing. i dont know what clubs have youth teams entered but im sure when there is no youth games most of these lads could line out for their junior a or b teams if they wanted.
