"I Love to Love" by Tina Charles

Can anyone tell me if I've got the message of this song right?
Miss Charles, who I recall as being a slightly overweight girl, complains that her boyfriend prefers the delights of the dance-floor to staying at home with her. She would prefer to "make love" but is thwarted by his predilection for disco-dancing.
Maybe if she joined him on the dance floor every night, she might lose a bit of weight, and would whet her boyfriend's juices.
Personally, I have great sympathy with the boyfriend.
