2] Did Billie Jo jump off the bridge to commit suicide or to retrieve the object in question one above?
3] Why does the singer spend a lot of time jumping in the muddy waters near the bridge? Is it in the hope of retrieving this object which eluded Billie Jo, or is it merely for sentimental reasons?
