Just wondering if there are any other posters on foot.ie who are involved with or have knowledge of the above.

The Centenary of the Collingwood Cup is coming up in 2014, and I am particularly looking for anyone from Queen's University in Belfast who would be able to give me the years QUB won the Collingwood Cup between 1927 and 1940. I am trying to compile a complete winners list. I have 1914 to 1927 covered and 1940 to date. UCD and Queen's competed exclusively early on. Trinity joined the fray then but it was mostly a three team competition prior to World War 2. And I know that Trinity won their first Collingwood in 1967.

I think you'd better check the records again
In 1986 UCC beat UCD 2-1 aet in Belfast, close game so I can understand the error HAHA!
UCC won again in 2000. Thats 10 for UCC!!!

alright lads, certainly worth a try looking in the collingwood programme for the last few years - good chance it could be in there. Also worth contacting the IUFU committee....

Of course you;re right it was a typo. Kevin O'Sullivan reffed it so UCD were never going to win that game :D
