Think you're best off aiming straight up (or 60 degrees, which is as straight up as it'll allow) and hoping you hit the explosives first off - you get up to 100 foot in the air, which means you don't really get caught on the spikes or the fly-trap, and you still bounce a good bit even if you don't hit a bouncy thing. It's all luck of course, but that should swing things a little bit more in your favour.
