This isn't to say "I told you so" or anything, I'm genuinely curious about this because I've never once had a complaint about performance on this server. It's a 1.5GHz Athlon T'Bird with a gigabyte of RAM on seven - count em - gigabit links to the Internet via six different providers*. No-one in the world should be having connectivity problems.

Listen don't get us wrong, we like this place, I like this place, it's very impressive but like everyone you can't beat going home so that's what we are doing. It may be sh*t compared to this but it's our sh*t!!:D
This is a great forum, and i'll continue to come here. But as Drogman said, you can't beat home!
I like here too but every home match peole ask me to open the old forumas they find that this opens too slowly and some people can't access it from their work place unlike network54. Others don't like not being able to post pics.
Its a shame that everyone wants to go back to that sh*te network54 as it is obvious that you guys put alot of effort into this site and it is a cracker no doubt but majority rules I guess.
At the end of the day (hurrah!) all we want to do is talk about football and our club so I suppose network54 does provide that service - although just about!

if yis feel such a compulsion to use N54 but agree this site is as good as it gets then why not use both - it's hardly that big a deal to open two windows in your browsers (or would that be too slow as well :rolleyes: )
Personally i prefer the Drogs here as at least ye don't start one Monster thread like those Longford l@ngers.

I haven't used a stopwatch, but I think the speed is pretty much the same in both.
An attachment to their own club site is not just a Drogheda thing, judging by the other premier league forums here.
However, I'm sure myself and many more Drogs WILL use both forums.
