been to frankfurt but i have not been to dusseldorf. frankfurt was nice, a few irish pubs there with o rehilly's sticking out in the memory. i have no idea what the job opportunities are like though. however if i was to recommend a place in germany it would have to be munich or cologne. both great cities.
There are a dozens of better cities in Germany than either Frankfurt or Dusseldorf. But if I was forced to choose, I'd go with Dusseldorf.
I've been to several German cities, and I would have to say Frankfurt was by far and away the worst! It's just a business town, and I found there to be very little by way of entertainment. I'll agree 100% with theleprechaun...try Cologne or Munich instead.
Been to Frankfurt. Nice enough place. The area around the Main is pretty nice and I always loved the tram/metro system there.
I don't know much about sites but one thing I assure you: DO NOT go to the Modernische Kunst Museum. It's a moder art museum and one selection was of this guy who took pictures of this girls fanny, close-up and at lots of different angles. It was actually just disturbing, plus I was ten at the time and quite innocent.
Been to Frankfurt..nice place. Would agree that Munich is much better. I'd go anywhere that isn't Northern Germany (Hamburg etc.)
Frankfurt is more boring than being in Carlow on a wet day watching the World Paint Drying Championships. Do not go there.
I've never been to Dusseldorf. Why only these 2 cities? There are plenty of great places in Germany: Berlin, Munich, Heidelberg, etc....
Frankfurt is seriously boring! It ranks up there with Bochum.
Hamburg can be nice and it's handy for a trip up to Denmark.
I'd choose Düsseldorf but only because it's not as bad as Frankfurt.
go frankfurt, dusseldorf is a horrible industrial city..frankfurt is a nice city
