Apart from Keegan and Ward most of Irish team was two years younger than the Dutch so should have been a useful exercise.

Well, in my opinion they certainly did, I was especially impressed by the Irish number 6, I think it was Keegan but I'm not sure. To be honest I expected traditional English / Irish football, long balls etc, but Ireland really tried to pass and play quickly which sometimes resulted in good combinations and chances.Quote:
