Dont know what forum to throw this one in, but any chance a bar in Stansted will show the game early? im flying out to Seville at 6 and really want to catch the Ireland game, but as near the airport as possible. Will airport bars show the game or are there any other bars near the airport in Stansted itself?
Stansted seems to be out in the middle of nowhere but there are a few bars in the airport.
Dont want to check in too early but do ya reckon the bars there would show the rugby? Stansted's practically a village but dont want to wander out too far...
I'd say they would half their traffic is probably Irish anyway.
Great Dunmow is about 10mins by bus from the Airport - any of the First buses going to Chelmsford, Colchester or Cambridge go through it and there are plenty of Pubs - buses to each are at least hourly, so its easy enough.
There is an Irish bar in the Airport not sure if they have TVs to show the game though. I think its part of the O Neil chain of bars.
