Eight missing for Bohs game

Manager Eddie Gormley will be without eight of his first team squad for Friday night's game against Bohemians.

Six players are out with injuries and two are unavailable.

Strikers Andre Francesco Georgescu (thigh), John Broderick (ankle) and James O'Shea (groin) will all have to sit this one out.

The versatile veteran Com Tresson also has a groin strain and is unlikely to figure on Friday night.

Stephen Hurley (hamstring) and Ronan Ivory (virus)will also be absent.

Alan Cawley once again has to sit this one out as the Club await a decision on his status, while David Tyrrell is suspended.

'I was disappointed with the result last week but not with the performance,' stated Gormley during the week.

'I was disappointed not to have got a point but moral victories are in the past as far as this Club is concerned. We want points on the board, and that's what we are after,' the Manager added.

Good to see he's trying to instill some confidence and drive in the lads.
