In case anybody did'nt notice,there was a sad announcement in today's Star that Packie Lynch has retired from football at the age of 28.He never recovered from the chest infection that curtailed him last season,and only had one pre-season training session before calling it quits.I'm sure most of us will agree that Packie was a real Saintsman,unlike those p****s Billy-boy and Byrner,and will join me in wishing him well for the future.So long mate,and thanks for the memories!!!
