I presume Noelle Feeney will be going to this seminar on Marketing....
First on the list: Make sure to have wooly hats and scarves available in the Club Shop on the coldest day of the year! (ie. last home game against Longford - none!)

The marketing at the club is a shambles. The stuff available in the supporters shop is crap in my opinion.
How about some nice t-shirts. They dont have to be mad expensive, just good quality. Fans could then have a vote on what t-shirts they would like to buy. they could run it in the programme. Have a few designs and let the fans decide. Some simple designs like just the crest on the t-shirt, or maybe a big Cork City FC in the front and "till I die" at the back, or even with "oh to be a rebel" at the back. Some simpel ideas like that. They'd have to be trendy-ish though. Look at the success of the P.R.O.C. t-shirts ..simple idea... (anyone else got any ideas???)
How many different scarf designs is there??? Hats etc..???
There is still little advertising done for the games. I'm not too sure about in the Echo as I dont read it. But surely they can afford to put posters and likewise up around the city??
up in dublaqnd yesterday and they had green and white santa hats and christmas stocks for 8 euro they told me the adult ones sold out. if theclub got some and sold them wity city across the front they would sell like hotcakes espically on the run up to christmas
