Becketts Bar

My brother, who is working on behalf of Harrmack Construction was telling me that Becketts Bar (previously Walsh's Bar, Bohermore) has Gufc photos all over its walls and it's open now. This must be the new home of Gufc activities, instead of the Racing Lodge. Anyone got an official info on this?

haven't been inside yet but was passing it the last 2 nights and there seemed to be a really good crowd in there.

would be a lot better its on the terryland side of town too. racing lodge miles away u need a car to get there. ive never been there and considering the distance prob never will

Is Becketts still owned by one of the Crowes or what?

Its across the Road from Crowes IT WAS Walsh's and yes its great to have a base in town for our sponsors who have been excellent.

yes, i stand corrected, Becketts Bar is where Walsh's used to be not Crowes. And it is open now.

for the club.i remember kates being full after a few games around the time of our playoff final season a few years ago and there was a great atmosphere in there.kates(central bar) is a no go place now though unless your surname is Sweeney or McDonagh:) .

isnt the central bar in woodquay?

Kates is now the Centre Bar, the Central is in Woodquay.
