eL players sought by English/Scottish clubs
It looks like the success of Kevin Doyle is transitioning so quickly from the eL to Championship/Premiership has shown the English and Scottish club managers that the top eL players are now worth looking at seriously.
Ironically Mick McCarthy is supposed to be looking at Stephen Ward and Kevin Deery! And after the gross under valuation of Doyle they are being valued at 300K each.
And Kenny is supposed to be interested in O'Donovan - who is being valued at 450K.
And Southend supposed to be interested in buying Foran from Scotland!
So is this good as it will bring money into the clubs - or bad because the better players will be leaving the league? Just when the professional structures, summer soccer and success in Europe seemed to be succeeding in raising the overall standards and convincing the casual supporter that the eL might just be worth a look?
