Right, can someone fill me in from a Town perspective on what the stewards got up to on Saturday night..... More bad press for the club on JW's board, and the stewards the centre of it again.....

Simple,
The pats fans let off a load of fireworks.
An anouncement goes across the tanoy, "Please refrain from using fireworks in the ground, if you continue to use them you are liable to be expelled from the ground"
5 mins pass...
Fire works let off.
Stewards move in, as they do so, the pats fans attempt to let off their remaining fireworks.
One steward makes a grab for some fella holding a fire work, knocking it out of his hand and hitting another Pats fan with it.
Stand off.
Much pushing, then nothing else.
Nobody expelled from the ground as far as i could see.
Conclusion.
They brought it on themselfs.
seems to me city and de town should do a steward exxhange programme :)
between our arse-scratching lay-abouts and yer "lay into them for anything" shower, we could surely find a decent combination
What is it with Pats fans & fire?
Junior arsenists or something

Pats fans were firing the fireworks onto the pitch & nearly hit a couple of players...At this stage the Ref stopped the game & asked the stewards to stop the Pats fans from firing fireworks or he would abandon the game & the club would be fined. What followed was as sorbothegreek explaned....except for there were 3 or 4 Pats fans expelled from the ground for the use of Fireworks.....
