yourman from wexford was on the news saying that he has been talking to the FAI and things are looking well for them to join!

Anyway, how long is it since the expungency of Dublin City? Surely ample time to get a replacement in:confused: The fact that they couldn't announce the full line-up of next season's shiny new league, not to mention they can't even commit to how many teams will be in the league does not bode well. :(
Actually, from looking at the FAI press release it seems to indicate that Wexford (or any other club) will not be ready to take their place in time for the new season and that there will be 8 or 9 clubs, depending on how Limerick's appeal goes.

It'd make more sense to have one 20 team division than have an 8 team first- now that would be a turn-up for the books!
Anyway, I suspect Limerick will survive in some form and that at least one team will join the league (and they may even get two if Limerick don't make it).
