Who is our best centre forward combination...
thisll bring a bit of debate! I reckon Lavine/Francis, two proven goalscorers, thatll wreck opposition defences. Byrne has been doing well, but hasnt scored, while Mulvihill doesnt have the confidence right now..
I think Byrnes position maybe best served on the left or in centre midfield, which would solve our midfield problem with Avery John.Quote:

Who is (can be) our best Centre forward partnership?
Leave in Vinny for the moment, Kirby has been playing some rubbish games recently except for that Goal against Derry, what has he done ?
1) Digger
2) Spud
3) Dillon
4) Silke
5) Fergusson
6) Vinny
7) Kirby
8) John
9) Lavine
10) Francis
11) Byrne
How about Sheridan on the Right???
how about sheridan for athlone !!!;)
I think that Shane Barret looks as good as Savic or Paddy. When he gets fully fit, he'll move up the order.
I think I seen the benefit of playing Savic/Mulvihill and it aint pretty...
Whoever the two on Friday were, I'd try something else in future!
whoever the three UCD 'supporters' were, singing 'we're **** and we know it', in the corner....i'd try something else in the future:rolleyes:Quote:

It's fúcking true. That was the most clueless display of football that it's been my misfortune to see in my life. Even when Longford were down to ten men, we barely had a shot on target. If that's all we can manage, we deserve to go down.:(Quote:

But at least you dont pay 10 euros for watching paint dry!:o
I reckon it was the inability of UCD dragging the town down. ;) The last 15mins or so wasnt bad but that hardly makes a match. Too late when you're down to ten men too.
Four for some Pauro ;)Quote:
