Cork City FC is making a special appeal to all supporters to stay off the pitch at all times on Sunday, including after the game. Fans running on to the pitch has become an increasing problem at recent home games. The club now faces a €500 timefine every there is a pitch incursion, as it compromises safety of players, officials and supporters alike. The club have asked that supporters observe the directions of the Gardaí and stewards at all times and refrain from encroaching onto the field.
