Maybe some good news lads...
Parkin has just been sacked by Barnsley. With any luck McCarthy can return to his Barnsley roots.
Any chance he coul;d depart within the next 24 hrs before the crucial game on Wednesday.
Good riddance....

Quitting now would throw things into needless disarray ahead of such a crucial game, but I would most certainly be in favour of him leaving after the Swiss match. He'd definitely leave if he was offered the post. I know that I'd leave ANY managerial post in the world so I could manage City.Quote:

Wouldn't you love to find out? Besides, UEFA coaching badge, or not as the case may be, I'd be a hell of alot better than Gunther.Quote:

Can we please stop speculating about McCarthy, it´s getting tiresome. He´s said when he´s leaving and I think people should have some common decency and respect and wish the guy the best, in the hope that he leaves our national team in better shape than his predecessor- which I have no doubt he will.
Gwanawaya******! Yaaaaawn :rolleyes:Quote:

Anything better to be doing in London than talking **** here?
And here's some bad news...
.... Mick is thinking of starting Carsley (according to the Irish Times)
... ha!ha!ha! (In times of despair, you just have to laugh)
yeah saw that.Quote:

hopefully its a ploy to lull the swiss into false sense of security.
If he´s thinking of Carsely his tactics are obviously the "10 men for at least half-an-hour" contingency plan, cos thast hack merchant is sure to get himself sent off.
It´s one of the greatest tragedies in history that a player like Lee Carsley was in a world cup finals- Deccie Daly has more footballing ability in his small toe than Carsley
Shed End John has begun to contradict himself now, last week he was longing for Mick to take the Sunderland job which would have probably meant him leaving before "such a crucial game", this week he thinks it "would throw things into a needless dissarry":rolleyes:Quote:
