I thought it was good to see aswell. We didn't lower ourselves to the level of small time clubs by booing Dundalk or our lads off.

ya conor it was good to see. i was walking into town after the game with one of the lads and two dundalk fans. they could not believe it that we applauded their team off the pitch. they had a lot of respect for us and they joined us in fibbers after.
a couple of dundalk players acknowledging the applause as they walked into the tunnel.and also their manager(i think it was him)who after applauding his own fans then did the same to section A as he walked past, nice to see mutual respect.
there was 3 or 4 of there players clapping as they were walking past and so was john gill
The manager's comments are great on the website, I hope they keep it up.
hopefully the team are as enthusiastic as he sounds when saturday night comes.
Well done to the Galway fans for doing this....similiar to what we did in Killester.
You wouldnt see the Dublin clubs doing this....up the west!!!
