Supporters Player of the year award

Right Lads and Lassies. Here is your chance to vote for player of the year. If you cannot vote here there will be paper versions of this vote available at home games and travelling buses for the rest of the season. For arguement sake I have put up the names of the players who have been around since the first game of the season. Has to be Goughy lads played every game 13 clean sheets and after last saturday hes definitely in for canonisation.

I voted for Billy. Haven't been at as many games as I'd have liked but he's been top notch practically every time.

has to be gough. saved us so many times and a great captain. 3 brilliant saves at least last weekend

IMO has to be goughy hes had a fantastic season and saved us on many occasion

Gaaaaargh. I'd almost blocked all memory of his former employers from my mind.

Good to see he's not being eliminated on performance related reasons alone anyway.

it has to be alan gough, without him we would only be middle of the table, he has saved us at least 10-12 points this season.

Bizarrely enough Slab's clear top scorer as well!

I think all of us know he is capable of playing far better than he has this season.He may well be top scorer there is a perception that he could try harder.Personally, I cant understand it. but perhaps if Russller was on the pitch a bit more he could shine.I think he could benifit from more accurate delivery.

I think all our front and wide players would benefit from John Russell being included, not just Alan Murphy.

I voted for Derek O’Brien. I know Alan Gough is going to win it and I can’t argue with that, but I think Derek has had a good season and deserves a showing in the voting. There’s been a lot of ill-considered long ball stuff this season and Derek has never engaged in that. He always tries to do something with the ball, and I know he doesn’t always succeed, but he does try. He’s taken a lot of criticism this season which I think has been harsh.

I will be locking this thread on the 11th of this month (this saturday) rather than what was previously stated.

I see Alan Murphy has been online since I last checked the votes:D
